Whoo Hoo! Finally! Winter Garden, Florida has a brand new shopping mall, Winter Garden Village at Fowler Groves, that opened in fall of 2007. If you're like me, you have been waiting a long time for the convenience of shopping, dining, getting a haircut, working out, or just being able to fill up your car with gas and do a little banking all in the same locality. The beautiful new outside mall - Winter Garden Village at Fowler Groves - gives us all that plus more! Winter Garden Village at Fowler Groves, located at 3251 Daniels Road, at the intersection of CR535, SR429 and the Stoneybrook West Parkway. It's about two miles from the Stoneybrook West Golf Community , about five minutes to the town of Windermere, Florida ,twenty minutes to the Dr. Phillips area and fifteen minutes to Clermont FL . What took me by surprise is the cool music one can hear while walking and shopping in The Grove area of the mall. This just might be a great place to get those miles of walking in too. Who knows. Plus, you get to enjoy being outside in the fresh air instead of being cooped up in an indoor mall.

The Winter Garden Village at Fowler Groves is 1.15 million square foot of open-air shopping mall with retail and dining. The shopping mall consists of three areas: The Crossing - which runs down Daniels Road and consists of restaurants, financial institutions and other community services, The Grove - which is the center of heart of the mall and has additional restaurants, apparel boutiques and specialty retailers, then last but not least is The Exchange - which is situated along the SR429 Expressway and it is here where you will find the regional-size retailers.

If you love art, visit the extensive public art gallery located throughout the Winter Garden Village at Fowler Groves. The History Walk, located in The Grove, honors individuals who have served and provided leadership over the years. You will also notice three landmark pieces - The Grand Fountain, The Fowler Porch and The Clock Tower plus eight statues situated around the Village - each one representing the historical importance of the citrus industry in the lives of children in Winter Garden . You may have noticed the citrus label collection mounted on the backs of the buildings along the 429 Expressway.
